Gilbert McLorren Bio

Gilbert Mclorren was a descendant of the island of Saint Lucia as a young adult he was dedicated to serving his community as an evangelist. Mr. Mclorren's passion for his community and people led him to travel throughout the island of Saint Lucia for the explicit purpose of ministry. He later relocated to the United States and progressed in the ministry of the gospel by functioning as a reverend. Mr. McLorren's duties entailed preaching, teaching and counseling in various churches all while maintaining full time employment as a means of providing for his family.

Despite Mr. McLorren's commitments in the United States he never lost sight of his dream to return to his homeland and give back in a charitable manner through connecting Bethel Tablenacle Empowerment Center located in Castries Saint Lucia and Fellowship Christian Center Church (F3C) located in Plano Texas to his vision. Unfortunately, Mr. Mclorren passed away April 28th 2015 succumbing to his battle with cancer before he could fulfill his vision.

In honor of Mr. McLorren’s legacy his relatives inclusive of spouse and children formulated The Gilbert Mclorren Outreach (GMO) a continuation of his of passion. In August 2019 the organization in collaboration with F3C and Bethel Tablenacle Empowerment Center conducted it's first (annual) trip to Saint Lucia. During the course of the mission, GMO in collaboration with F3C delivered over 200 school bags consisting of school supplies and 100 bags of groceries to impoverished families. GMO and F3C work collaboratively to increase the amount of support they provide striving to positively impact the lives of more children and families not only in Saint Lucia but locally in Texas as well through the formulation of hope, relief and a brighter future to those in need.
